The Heartbeat: Luckgratiblessed - Is This Real Life?!

I made up a new word!

Luckgratiblessed (adj.): The feeling of being wildly lucky, deeply grateful, truly honored, and unmistakably blessed -- all at the same time.

This is how I feel after the last week. Completely luckgratiblessed for the incredible humans in my orbit, the work I get to do, the business I get to run, and the communities that fill my cup. Pinch-me. Is this real life?!

Here's a compilation of some of the light in my life and work this past week, including snapshots of the YWCA's In the Company of Women Luncheon, our DC Mini Retreat for Leaders and Changemakers, our Millennial Manager Collective brunch, and time with my adorable nephew :-)

Cuddles with babies are always balm for the soul, but being with and holding space for good, like-hearted humans is equally nourishing. In the face of so much hardship and bad news, I am reminded how much magic exists and how powerful community can be. Every one of these people pictured is changing the world in meaningful ways, and together, we are rewiring the nervous system of the universe toward justice and love.

Every tiny step, courageous action, and quiet moment of care makes a difference. Ripples become waves, and waves reshape what once felt immovable. I’m so grateful to be in community with humans who choose love, again and again, even when it’s hard.

This week, I have a little more hope than I did last week. I know that I am doing what I was put on this earth to do, and I don't take a minute of it for granted. Thanks, as always, for following along and being part of it!

In the following sections, I'll share four projects I'm excited about, three invitations, two offers, one wish, and a song for the moment. I hope these help you and your team in the coming weeks!


FOUR PROJECTS I'M EXCITED ABOUT💡
It's been a busy month! Here are my newest signed engagements!

1. Manager-Direct Report Facilitated Dialogue
Working with two senior-level leaders who have been experiencing ongoing tension. Each leader has completed a Conflict Dynamics Profile assessment and one-on-one coaching, and we'll be using this as a foundation for an in-person dialogue to address continuing tensions and conflict, clarify mutual expectations, establish norms for future feedback and communication, and rebuild shared trust and alignment moving forward.

2. Sabbatical-Focused All Access Advisory Package
I'll work one-on-one with a senior leader over the next couple months to help them fully step into, navigate, and return from their sabbatical with intention and clarity. This includes pre-sabbatical planning to set goals and calm fears, mid-sabbatical check-ins for reflection and gentle accountability, and return-to-work sessions to translate learnings into a sustainable post-sabbatical plan. It’s designed to help this person not just take a sabbatical, but to maximize the opportunity!

3. Burnout Prevention Team Cohesion Session
Facilitating a half-day session for a large nonprofit team to help staff and managers understand what burnout really is, why it happens, and how to heal from and prevent it personally and collectively. Participants will explore eight domains of well-being, create personalized well-being plans, and learn strategies for supporting themselves and each other in sustainable ways.

4. Program Manager Leadership Accelerator
Facilitating professional development for a team of program managers. We'll teach practical strategies for effectively managing others, the difference between micromanagement and mentorship, and how to navigate sensitive or challenging performance conversations. The session will also provide tools to deliver feedback that drives growth, prepare for difficult reviews, and foster engagement and satisfaction within organizational structures.
